Flamengo Penta Tri - A Hegemonia

2009 · 84 min · Documentary

The championship seemed lost. Bad results, delayed salaries, and internal fights. In the midst of this storm, Fábio Luciano announces that he will hang up his boots and asks the players to help him become champion one last time. Mobilized by the captain's leadership, the team transforms and doesn't lose another game. Fla is Tri again, this time with a special flavor. By winning its 31st state title, it breaks the 103-year dominance of its rival from Laranjeiras and achieves for the first time the absolute hegemony of Rio de Janeiro football. With all the goals of the campaign, unreleased interviews, behind-the-scenes images and of the Flamengo fans, PENTATRI - THE HEGEMONY records this unforgettable chapter in Mengão's history. It also features a show of images from the final, with five exclusive cameras and new songs composed by the singer Roge. Another production by Fla Filmes, lucky charm since 2006.
