A “flâneur” is a term originating from 19th-century French literature, referring to a leisurely urban wanderer, often depicted as an observer of city life. The flâneur walks through the streets without any specific destination, reflecting on the people, surroundings, and society at large. This figure is often associated with a detached, contemplative attitude, observing the complexities and nuances of urban life.
