Yūjirō Ishihara is a pilot who has broken free of his dreary life and is following his dreams and Ruriko Asaoka is a dancer trapped in her banal existence who is falling in love with him but hates him at the same time for not being afraid to be free while cannot. The two clash with tragic consequences.
